Erica Banks has been living her best life as a newly single woman. After crash landing onto the rap scene with her viral hit "Buss It," the Dallas rapper has found many opportunities come her way. Since, her public and messy breakup with rapper Finesse2tymes, she's been enjoying the single life. Not only that, but she also released a new single called "Ain't Got Time," which showcases her singing vocals on the hook. Erica Banks recently sat down with Sheen Magazine and spoke on the single along with her other ventures.

Moreover, when asked about her new single and the inspiration she told the outlet she wanted to do something different. " I really wanted to do something different," Banks told the magazine. Additionally, she said she wanted to, "Try something outside of club music, twerk music, 'Buss It,' 'Toot That.'" Later in the interview they got into the dynamics of dating in the music industry. However, Erica Banks gave a standup answer when met with the question. "I don’t think it’s a bad thing," the Dallas rapper said. She added, "It depends on what you’re looking for, what you like, what you’re willing to deal with? I’m not against it."

Erica Banks Is A New L&HH Cast Member

Furthermore, the publication asked Erica if it was a bad thing to mix business with pleasure. You can imagine the answer she gave given her recent relationship issues last year. "Absolutely. That’s all I’ma say," Banks told the magazine. Secondly, the "Buss It" rapper revealed that she would be on the big screen as a cast member of Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta. MTV recently announced the new season of L&HH: Atlanta will air on Tuesday, June 13th.

Erica Banks mentioned to Sheen Magazine that she was excited to join the cast. "It is true. I’m excited. It’s not my first time on TV, but it’s my first time being a part of the cast," she shared. Additionally, the magazine asked what they could be expecting from the Texas rhymer-turned-reality tv star. "Everything. [laughs] From the growth of my music to me growing as a person to my family to me building my cooking brand," Banks said.
