Former Atlanta Falcons star William Moore has been arrested after an altercation ended with Moore shooting at a car with a child inside. According to reports from TMZ, the incident was called to the police as a domestic dispute. However, when Lawrenceville, Ga police arrived at the scene, a woman mentioned Moore had shot at her car. According to reports, Moore shot at the vehicle while the woman's niece and son were inside the vehicle. Now Moore will be facing several legal battles.
The disagreement between Moore and the woman allegedly started over Moore's daughter. Allegedly the niece of the woman and Moore's daughter got into a disagreement on the playground. Moore allegedly slashed the woman's tires with a screwdriver. The woman in the equation has yet to let her information be known. However, it appears she will be pressing charges against the former NFL defensive back.
William Moore Facing Several Charges
According to the police, "Moore was booked on two counts of aggravated assault, one count of felony criminal damage to property in the second degree, and one count of felony possession of a firearm or knife during the commission." Moore has also been charged with two misdemeanor counts of cruelty to children in the third degree. The former Falcons star's bond is currently set at $21,700. After reports of the incident, police found a vehicle matching the witness's testimony. That is when Moore was detained by police. However, no comment has been made by Moore or anyone that may be his legal counsel.
William Moore spent all seven seasons of his NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons. From 2010 to 2013, Moore started the majority of the season for the Falcons as a safety. However, the 2012 season saw Moore earn the only Pro Bowl selection of his seven-year career. In his final season, Moore started and appeared in eleven games for the Falcons.
