In an interview with VIBE.com, Hit-Boy reassures the press that the upcoming LP Cruel Summer is as good as finished. Following suit, he's on his way to Honolulu, Hawaii with G.O.O.D. Music to help Kanye West fine-tune the album. The release has already been postponed from September 4th to the 18th to leave more time for adding features. But the Cali producer shows no signs of impatience, and claims to be just as excited as last summer when he got started working on the single "Niggas In Paris" for ‘Ye and Jay-Z.
He might even end up rapping on the album, though he makes no promises saying, “it’s possible. Actually, yeah we talked about it, so I’ma just let the chips fall as they may.” Hit-Boy’s also never been to Hawaii, and looks forward to the possibility of photo shoots, or even the production of a video for the project.
