Watch the Atlanta singer explain his decision to put out music anonymously and reveal some exciting collaborations in episode 2 of OTCU Season 6.

Rising Atlanta R&B singer 24Hrs made the decision to begin his career under the pseudonym completely anonymously, and with early attention from both labels and the biggest names in the industry, it seems that it's paid off. In the new episode of our On The Come Up Series, 24Hrs explains how he got into music, his recent collaborations, and what he's got on his plate for 2017.

Early on, 24 recalls how he first became infatuated with rap when he listened to Eminem's Marshall Mathers LP and Lil Bow Wow's debut album, as well as his first music setup and how it's advanced over the course of his career. He also spoke of the overwhelmingly positive reception he got when he decided to retire his Royce Rizzy moniker and perform anonymously as 24Hrs.

"I should just put my music out with no face and see how people respond," he said of his decision. "I had everybody from the top artists to labels and producers DMing me and not knowing anything and who I was."

Though he's a little more out in the open now, his unconventional approach put him in contact with some exciting collaborators. "I've been working with GOOD Music, I've been over there doing a lot of stuff," he revealed. "Me and Roy Woods have been doing a lot of stuff ... Me and French [Montana] were in ... Me and [Yo] Gotti have been doing a lot of stuff."

24 also spoke of two collaborative projects he has on the way, including one we didn't know about previously. "Me and Hit-Boy, we got 24 Hits coming soon," he said, revealing the title of the upcoming project with the celebrated producer. He also spoke of his previously announced tape with Ty Dolla Sign. "24 Dollas is like a masterpiece ... It's crazy, Ty's so musical and passionate about what he does."
