More drama coming out of Lil Wayne’s lawsuit against Quincy Jones III. As you know, Weezy had sued Jones for creating the documentary “The Carter” which Wayne believed was defamatory. After being unable to attend the proceedings, and letting his funny, and mildly bizarre, deposition tape do the talking for him, Wayne lost not only his lawsuit, but also the countersuit Jones had filed for over $2 million.
Now the Young Money rapper is angry because the judge didn’t give him enough time to recover, and thinks the jurors unfairly ruled against him. Lil Wayne had said he could not attend the court hearings because he is on doctor’s orders to not fly, and TMZ reports that Tunechi feels he should have been granted more time. He also thinks the jurors ruled against him because they were “pissed off” that they didn’t get to see him come and testify in person.
The YMCMB talent also feels that Quincy Jones won such a favorable sum because Wayne had trashed the documentary. Earlier last week, perhaps because he was feeling better, Wayne had chartered a luxury bus from Louisiana to Miami for the Heat’s home opener.
After this ordeal, he has also pushed back his next album I Am Not A Human Being II.
