Angel Reese revealed that Future and Drake slid into her DMs after LSU's big win.

Angel Reese faced a polarizing response after her victory with LSU, though the hip-hop community did nothing but celebrate her accomplishments. The LSU Tigers star faced a bit of backlash after taunting Caitlin Clark, though people like Shaq and Lil Wayne praised Reese’s skills on the court. However, it seems like there were a handful of folks who privately extended their congratulatory messages, including some of the most known figures in hip-hop and pop culture.

Reese, alongside her teammate and rising rapper Flau’jae, appeared on The Breakfast Club this morning where they discussed LSU’s win and the celebrity support. NBA Youngboy publicly tried to shoot his shot but DJ Envy asked about the other well-known figures that slid into her DMs. Reese revealed that both Drake and Future slid into her DMs to wish her congratulations. “You said two that you need to stay far away from,” Charlamagne said in response to Drake and Future, leading to a room full of laughter. “They just congratulated me. It’s all congratulations,” Reese clarified.

Drake & Future Slide In Angel Reese's DMs

In addition to Drake and Future, Reese said that DJ Khaled, who previously linked up with both LSU stars, and French Montana also reached out to her. However, that’s when Envy brought up Drake’s NBA-sized basketball court at his home. “Then Drake gonna say, ‘Yo, you know I got a basketball court at the crib?’ Did he say that yet?” Envy asked. Reese didn’t respond but she and Flau’jae looked at each other before erupting into laughter, which Envy and Charlamagne took as an admission. Whether or not Angel Reese accepted Drake’s invitation has yet to be confirmed.

Even if Reese doesn’t make her way to Toronto, it seems like the Drake connection could be fruitful one way or another. This morning, the rapper added new dates to the It’s All A Blur tour with 21 Savage. Hopefully, Drizzy blessed her with some seats for the upcoming tour to celebrate an incredible season.
