But that isn't the case.
Twitter owner Elon Musk stated on Twitter that he is footing the bill for James' Twitter Blue verification. Along with paying for other celebrities and athletes. Musk's announcement confused many in the Twitter world. Including athletes like Hill. Hill tweeted Friday his question of wondering why Musk could pay for James' verification but not Patrick Mahomes.
