Deante' Hitchcock is an artist who is a champion of the people. With each new release, he is able to grow his fanbase. Overall, he may not be a mainstream artist. However, his fans treat him as if he is one. For many artists, this is the perfect position to be in. It is a place that allows you to be 100 percent yourself, without any pressure to conform. Hitchcock has taken advantage of that position and continues to impress his fans.
Today, Deante' Hitchcock revealed to his fans that he will be dropping a brand-new album on May 10th. The album is called Once Upon A Time and it will be about the birth of his son and what he has subsequently gone through as a new father. Moreover, in order to help promote this project, Hitchcock has come through with a new single called "Woah!" The track has that signature Hitchcock sound, and overall, it is a great way to kick off the album rollout.
Deante' Hitchcock Returns
“At what was shaping up to be a turning point in my life, the world as we know it seemed to stop turning altogether. I watched our world change, and in the midst of it all, I had a son, became a father, and watched my world change as well,” Hitchcock said in a press release. “The word ‘son’ feels hella ironic to read, like the sun up in the sky that I used to stare at until it became an almost blinding blue bouncing ball of light, my son came into the world and brought a brightness into my life that could rival that of its homophone. His mother and I are forever in awe, and forever thankful for our angel, our Saint."
With the new album dropping in about three weeks, we will certainly be getting more teasers, very soon. Hopefully, Hitchcock continues to give us quality like this.
