Quavo shared an old video of himself with the late Migos rapper, Takeoff, on Instagram, Monday. In the clip, the two share a smoke outside at an unclear location. "Let Me Smoke Wit Ya Phew!" Quavo captioned the post, while tagging Takeoff's Instagram account.
Prior to Takeoff's death, he and Quavo had begun releasing music as the duo, Unc & Phew. They shared their only studio album, Only Built for Infinity Links, in October, less than a month before Takeoff's death. The 28-year-old was shot and killed outside of a bowling alley in Houston, Texas in November.

In the months since, Quavo has released multiple songs that address the grief he's felt in response to Takeoff's passing. On his track, "Without You," he sings, “I wish I had a time machine/ So you can take a ride with me. Wrap my arms around and hold you tight, Phew/ So you can never say goodbye to me.” He also mentioned releasing his latest single, "Honey Bun," in honor of Takeoff.
Quavo isn't the only Migos rapper who has had a hard time with Takeoff's death. Offset, who is also Takeoff’s first cousin, previously reflected on the passing of the rapper in a lengthy Instagram post from November. “The pain you have left me with is unbearable,” Offset wrote at the time. “My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words. I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare. I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You have left a hole in my heart that will never be filled.” Offset also revealed that he got a massive tattoo in honor of Takeoff on his back last weekend.
