Hours after sharing her highly anticipated remix of "Princess Diana" featuring Nicki Minaj on YouTube, Ice Spice is back with an accompanying music video. As expected, it's set in a pretty pink bedroom, where we see the Bronx baddie looking like hood royalty in a sparkly pink outfit worn under a feather-trimmed robe. Director Edgar Esteves is responsible for the video, which sees the redhead rocking both her signature afro as well as long, straight locks that reach all the way down to her hips. As she spits the chorus and her first verse for the camera, we see Spice in a series of rosy looks, many of them showcasing her various assets.
"Like, grrah, keep it a stack / Bitches move wock' 'cause they know I got bands / They be chattin', I don't give a damn / And I'm still gettin' money, I know who I am," she confidently rhymes. Of course, "Princess Diana" quickly became a fan favourite when it landed on Spice's Like..? EP earlier this year, but after seeing the close bond she's quickly formed with Minaj, fans couldn't wait to hear what the rap divas would cook up for their first collaboration. Based on the reviews of the remix so far, they managed to satisfy the masses.
Ice Spice is Unstoppable
For her part, the Queen of Rap pays homage to the song's late namesake by giving listeners her best English accent. "I, I, I be eatin' my spinach, they tried to clone my image / They burned they London Bridges, none of them bitches British," her verse begins. Elsewhere, she left us shocked with bars like "Like grrah, keep it a stack / Bitches is ass if we keepin' it crack." In the "Princess Diana (Remix)" visual, Minaj also stuns in various looks, many of them showcasing her famously curvaceous behind, which she doesn't hesitate to shake.
