For those who are sneaker fanatics, you have been probably been hearing about this new hybrid shoe called the Jordan MVP. Overall, hybrid Jordan models tend to be very hit-or-miss. Some people absolutely love them, while others completely despise them and would never want to see them. However, Jordan Brand knows that polarization can sometimes lead to a lot of publicity. Subsequently, this publicity then leads to sales. It is a great strategy that showcases knowledge of their market.
Since the unveiling of the Jordan MVP, we have seen a whole bunch of amazing new colorways make their way to the internet. A lot of these colorways have simply been teased. For now, there is no exact release date for the shoe. Overall, it remains to be seen when they will, indeed be released. Although, there has been quite a bit of hype over this shoe, which mixes elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8. If you are paying attention, you know that these are the silhouettes Jordan won his first three-peat in.
"Shy Pink" Jordan MVP
Recently, we got official images of the Jordan MVP "Shy Pink." So far, we have seen a "Raptors" scheme as well as a "Black Royal" model. Now, however, we have a silhouette that contains some much softer tones. Firstly, the base of the sneaker is covered in white leather. Secondly, we get a heavy dose of light pink on the midsole as well as the upper lining near the top of the cuff. Pink also shows up on the back heel's Nike Air logo. From there, we get that iconic Air Jordan 8 overlay with some pink, grey, and white brush strokes.
At the time of writing this, a release date has not been revealed. However, this shoe is expected to drop sometime in the near future for a price of $165 USD.
