Thanks to the Instagram sneaker insiders @xcsnkr and @zsneakerheadz, we now have some in-hand images of the new Union x Air Jordan 1. This is definitely a unique take on the Jordan 1, and it might not be for everyone. Firstly, the shoe is covered in white leather. Although, this is not the crazy part. The wildest part of the sneaker is the woven basket look we get that goes all the way down the sides and wraps around the toe box, as well as the back heel. When you put these elements together, you get a shoe that will turn heads. Whether or not people will resonate with this, remains to be seen.
For now, it is believed that the shoe will drop in August for a price of $200 USD. However, this is a rumor, meaning Jumpman and Union have yet to confirm anything.
