Rihanna reaches a milestone on Twitter.

Rihanna is one of the most accomplished musicians of all time. Ms. Fenty first conquered the music game when she hit the scene 17 years ago. During that time, she has won 9 Grammy Awards and amassed 14 number-one hits. Additionally, her Savage X Fenty line has become one of the most recognizable clothing brands in the world. Now, the Barbadian superstar can put yet another notch in her belt. She is the most followed woman on Twitter.

Social Blade reports that Rihanna has surpassed Katy Perry as the woman with the most followers on the platform. The "Umbrella" singer currently holds 108,278,326 followers. Additionally, Ri now ranks fourth overall in terms of followers. Her closest competitor is Justin Bieber in third place who holds an impressive 113,171,252 followers. However, it will take some major catching up for Rihanna to challenge for a top two spot. Second place is held by former President Barack Obama, with 132,941,739 followers. Meanwhile, just ahead of Obama at number one is Twitter owner Elon Musk who has 134,341,896 followers.

The past couple of years have been great both professionally and privately for Rihanna. It was announced in 2021 that the songstress had become a billionaire. Additionally, she and partner ASAP Rocky welcomed their first child last May. Furthermore, she announced in February that she was pregnant again. The couple's second child is due later this Summer. Moreover, she headlined the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February.

Fans of Rihanna are undoubtedly proud of the star for her accomplishments. However, there is one thing some fans feel is missing, a new album. Rihanna's last album release was Anti all the way back in 2016. This is a big change for the star who became known for pumping out album after album earlier in her career. However, there may be cause for optimism from. During an interview with British Vogue in February, Rihanna did hint that she would like to complete an album this year. We will see if she can manage to squeeze that in along with her numerous other ventures.
