The Canadian superstar won big at a golf course as part of the promo series "Playing Stake In Quiet Places."

Drake is unsurprisingly one of Stake's biggest advocates, and the gambling site is taking full advantage of that. Moreover, the Her Loss MC recently uploaded a funny and tongue-in-cheek promo video for Stake, which forms part of the series "Playing Stake In Quiet Places." Furthermore, Drizzy sat in front of his laptop while near a calm and peaceful golf course, celebrating his wins in the sun. However, the comedy angle comes from him shushing those around him, including a friend whose muscles are making too much noise. It's strange, low-budget, kind of corny, but still kind of funny to see him joke about him and his mother's birthdays as he wins big.

Of course, Drake is well-known for his gambling tendencies, and for placing huge bets that either net him a lot of money or make his heavy pockets about $2 million lighter. For example, he lost about that amount when betting on Israel Adesanya in a previous UFC fight. However, he often sees much better days. Most recently, he won his bet on the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl, although some of his specific bets regarding the game fell through.

On that note, the 6 God is quite the fan of mixed martial arts, and is one to pay respects to the sport's legends. Furthermore, UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal recently announced retirement, much to the dismay of that community given his incredible career. Despite the relatively sad announcement, Masvidal expressed his gratitude for his position and for everything that the sport has given him over the years. When Drake heard the big news, he took to his Instagram Story to tip his hat. "Street legend. UFC goat. Hats off to a great man," he wrote.

Meanwhile, Drake is making a lot of headlines these days for his new music, whether officially released or otherwise. His most recent tease came from his SOUND 42 radio show on SiriusXM, where he played a Lil Uzi Vert collab that originally surfaced back in 2021. With the way fans consume everything he does, if he bet on himself in the music game, he'd probably be twice as rich. Regardless, check back in with HNHH for the latest updates on Drake, whether for his bets or his career.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Gabriel treasures the crossover between his native reggaetón and hip-hop news coverage, such as his review for Bad Bunny’s hometown concert in 2024. But more specifically, he digs for the deeper side of hip-hop conversations, whether that’s the “death” of the genre in 2023, the lyrical and parasocial intricacies of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, or the many moving parts of the Young Thug and YSL RICO case. Beyond engaging and breaking news coverage, Gabriel makes the most out of his concert obsessions, reviewing and recapping festivals like Rolling Loud Miami and Camp Flog Gnaw. He’s also developed a strong editorial voice through album reviews, think-pieces, and interviews with some of the genre’s brightest upstarts and most enduring obscured gems like Homeboy Sandman, Bktherula, Bas, and Devin Malik.
