Former President Donald Trump is certainly going through a lot right now. Of course, he was indicted last week in New York City. This was due to the Stormy Daniels case that has brought through numerous charges. However, Trump has never really cared about this kind of controversy. Instead, he is always looking ahead to the next thing. For instance, he is in the midst of a brand-new Presidential campaign. Although he faces stiff competition in Ron DeSantis, early poles show Trump taking the Republican nomination for the third-straight election cycle.
Overall, Trump's chances of beating the incumbent Joe Biden are still unknown. Biden is already 1-0 in head-to-head matchups, and one would expect a similar result given where Trump left the country. Regardless, he is looking to get his supporters back together again, and his candidacy cannot be ignored. As it stands, Donald Trump is also trying to gain steam through Truth Social. His Twitter alternative has become quite popular, and his most recent message on the platform was actually quite ominous.
Donald Trump Speaks
As you can see in the Instagram post above, Trump said "World War III." Interestingly enough, there was no follow-up here. Instead, Donald Trump just put those words out there. Overall, many are confused as to what he is implying here. Perhaps he is saying that his indictment is so undemocratic that world governments should attack the United States over it. Or perhaps he is referencing the conflict in Ukraine and the job Joe Biden has done to keep it going. At this point, your guess is as good as ours. If there is one thing for certain, it is that Trump knows how to keep himself in the news.
Subsequently, it will be interesting to see how his legal woes play out. The chances of him receiving jail time are incredibly slim. Moreover, there would be a rebellion from his base if it were to happen. For the sake of peace in the United States, he will probably just be let go. Either way, his run for President is in full swing, and whether people like it or not, his chances aren't terrible.
