Shannon and Sharpe, and Skip Bayless discussed the Rudy Gobert incident. On Monday's edition of Undisputed, the two discussed Gobert's incident on Sunday. During the Timberwolves regular-season finale, Gobert threw a punch at teammate Kyle Anderson. The situation soon caught the attention of everyone in the NBA social media world. Including Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green. Once upon a time, Green was called out on Twitter by Gobert for an on-the-court incident with a teammate.
Now it seems as if Green is reciprocating the same treatment Gobert gave him. Green posted the same tweet that Gobert sent out in regard to his situation. "Insecurity is always loud…" A short message that carried a lot of weight. Gobert has been rumored to be a tough teammate to co-exist with. His pairing in Utah with Donovan Mitchell ended with both men going their separate ways. Now it seems Gobert is frustrated with some of his current teammates.
Shannon Sharpe Supports Draymond's Actions
It feels like a rare moment when Bayless and Sharpe are on the same side of the fence. Both media legends feel Green had every right to retaliate against Gobert through social media. Bayless mentioned that Gobert had no right to stick himself in Green's situation. Now it just looks like Green is giving it all back to Gobert. However, both men will be looking past this beef rather quickly. Because their respective team have both qualified for the playoffs. Sharpe is no stranger to finding himself in the middle of a beef. Including beef involving NBA superstars.
Shannon Sharpe knows exactly what talking trash and backing it up is. Sharpe is an NFL Hall-of-Famer whose play on the field certainly backed up his talk. Green can be put in that same category. Love him or hate him, Green has seen a lot of success in his time in the league. But Gobert, on the other hand, looks to be in a different mindset currently.
