The Dallas Mavericks receive huge news on Kyrie Irving injury.

Kyrie Irving has been playing at an elite level for the Dallas Mavericks. However, now it seems like Irving's season is over. The Mavericks have ruled Irving out for the team's must-win game on Friday. Irving has been dealing with a foot injury and will be unable to go. The injury news is a tough break for the Mavericks. As the team must win their finale in order to stay in the playoff race. However, the team will still be with Luka Doncic on Friday. But now he will need a massive performance to lift his team to victory.

The Mavericks' opponent on Friday is the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls have attempted to play spoiler already this season. As Patrick Beverley led the charge in a Bulls win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Bulls are not currently playing for a playoff position. However, that won't stop the Bulls from trying to put the final nail in the Mavericks season. Unfortunately, the Mavericks will be without more than just Irving on Friday night. The team's injury report is loaded with names.

Kyrie Irving Will Miss Must-Win Game

The team will also be without Josh Green, Tim Hardaway Jr., Maxi Kleber, and Christian Wood. Also, Luka is probably to play in Friday's matchup. However, Doncic has mentioned recently he will suit up as long as the team is fighting for a playoff spot. The story continues to build for Friday's game. If the team decides Luka can't go, it will all but be a wrap on the Mavericks season. All eyes will be on Doncic on Friday night.

Kyrie Irving's absence on Friday night could be a hint at the larger picture. Irving's playing future is up in the air, as the Dallas star has recently mentioned. Kyrie claims to be in no rush to decide where he will play next season. Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has already stated that re-signing Irving is the top priority this summer.
