Tank, Trey Songz, & Ludacris finna steal yo' girl on "Everything."

Tank recently dropped a brand new, eleven track album called Savage, and the project's second track features a few hip-hop heavyweights by the name of Trey Songz & Ludacris. And let's be honest, there aren't many emcees in the game who can open a verse with a reference to Frozen's Queen Elsa, but Ludacris somehow manages to make a Disney reference sound hard. It's a testament to the skill and charisma of underrated veteran Chris Bridges, who steals the show with a late game closing verse. But to be honest, the entire track features strong performances from everyone involved, including the track's quarterback, Tank.

Appropriately, given Luda's child-friendly reference, the synth heavy instrumental has an icy quality to it, and the trap-inspired drums add a touch of edge to the otherwise sensual vibe. Thematically, this one is geared toward the ladies, with Trey Songz busting out some inspired falsetto as he paints pictures of naked women partaking in some x-rated antics. Yet, the beat and general vibe keeps the song from entering a cloying sense of sentimentality, and each artist gets a chance to flaunt their masculine prowess.

On that note, Luda comes up with one of the most creative ways of describing good top I've heard in a minute: "your women pretend they're brainless, my women pretend they're toothless." In other words, Ludacris is all about the gumming. It's somewhat of a return to the vintage Luda of Word Of Mouf, and he sounds hungrier than he has in a little while. Overall, this track is a pleasant surprise, and makes a solid ode to the fairer sex.

Quotable Lyrics

Wrist frozen like Queen Elsa, n*gga
Pinned her down got your chick in a full Nelson, n*gga
I'm here to put in work, otherwise my job is useless
Your women pretend they brainless, my women pretend they useless
