The month of March began on a shocking note for Flo Rida, whose six-year-old son, Zohar, fell five stories from an apartment building window, resulting in some tragic injuries. According to the young boy's mother, Alexis Adams, he suffered "a shattered pelvis, left metatarsal fractures, Grade 3 liver laceration, internal bleeding and collapsed lungs," along with other painful outcomes. Following the incident, Zohar's mom is filing a lawsuit against Pitch Perfect 74, LLC, Goldberg Management – the company that oversees the complex where her child nearly lost his life.
Aside from launching a legal investigation, Adams is also calling out her ex, who is reportedly refusing to pay for Zohar's medical bills. She says that Flo Rida was previously mandated to help out with their disabled child in a 2018 court-ordered child support agreement, but is seemingly avoiding his duties at this time. "I am just so grateful that my son is alive, fighting, and is still here with me. He’s a real-life superhero," the "Right Round" hitmaker's co-parent wrote on social media last month, finding grace amid the unfortunate situation.
Update on Flo Rida's Son, Zohar
While he's allegedly not footing the bill, Flo did speak out about Zohar's injuries on Instagram in March. "He is getting the best medical care and miraculously survived a tragic fall," the 43-year-old confirmed. "I ask for your continued prayers as he undergoes rehabilitation but I would appreciate that this remain a private matter." Of course, Adams hopes that her son's father will step up and pay his share of the fees, though she mostly seems to be taking her anger out on the apartment's building managers.
According to her attorney, Steven P. Haddad, Adams wants a jury trial and blames the property owners for not installing proper window guards. She believes they've been taking care of the building "in a negligent, careless and reckless manner creating foreseeable and dangerous conditions." Flo Rida has yet to respond to Alexis' latest claims, though it's worth noting this isn't his first time facing accusations of skipping out on child support payments. In 2018, a judge ordered the Florida native to pay his co-parent $8K a month, which he attempted to have dismissed. Additionally, he reportedly once referred to Zohar as a "devil child."
