Snoop Dogg has surpassed half a century of life, but his rising age isn't stopping him from continuing to make epic moves in the music industry and beyond. After throwing his hat in the ring to perform at Prince Charles' upcoming coronation last week, the rapper is now showing off his strength in the ring at WrestleMania 39. On Sunday (April 2), the Doggfather made headlines by pinning WWE Superstar The Miz using a People's Elbow that's earning him plenty of praise online.
As TMZ reports, the 51-year-old was at SoFi Stadium when he brought out Shane McMahon as a surprise competitor for the Ohio-born fighter. The Miz and his contemporary entertained the crowd for a bit, but before long, Snoop intervened and set his sights on taking down Michael Mizanin. Ever the entertainer, the "Gin N Juice" hitmaker stood above his opponent to showboat for some time before dropping on him elbow first and ending the battle with a three count. "This is humiliating!!!" announcers watching on declared.
Snoop Dogg Shows off His Strength
The Miz was caught off guard by Snoop's attack on him, sources say. He was "fully expecting a casual interaction" with the west coast legend. Instead, he fell victim – and not for the first time this weekend. The sold-out crowd was obviously overcome with surprise by what they witnessed. Still, the winner managed to keep a cool head and maintain his composure. While he certainly left with his head held high, the same isn't true for the 42-year-old. He took on a beatdown at the hands of Geroge Kittle and Pat McAfee just hours before.
Plenty of wild antics have already been unfolding in Los Angeles, and there are still two more nights of WrestleMania 39 to go. Elsewhere at the event, Lil Uzi Vert dropped by to perform their "Just Wanna Rock" single, which they've also taken to The Tonight Show stage and Dreamville Festival over the past few days.
