Young Thug and Lil Yachty team up for "On Me" off the forthcoming Quality Control compilation.

Quality Control is working on putting their name on the map, beyond the artists they foster-- the label is responsible for honing in on the talents of Migos and Lil Yachty, as well as more on-the-come-up acts like Young Greatness, Skippa Da Flippa, OG Parker, Johnny Cinco and more. Thus you'll hopefully get acquainted with each of these artists on the forthcoming compilation, but leading the pack, is Migos, with their single "Too Hotty." "Too Hotty" was re-released as a proper Quality Control Presents: Control The Streets Volume One single and music video in August, and we've since recieved another album release, with Offset and Young Nudy for "Cinco de Mayo" (originally misplaced on Young Nudy's Nudyland as "Cancer Stick No Pressure," leading to general confusion at the time).

So far then, taking these three songs into consideration (we're including today's drop, "On Me"), the Quality Control compilation album is sounding like it'll be a stellar release. Each of these song goes, and shows what's exciting about QC artists. "On Me" pairs Yachty with Thug, Thug being a natural affiliate of Quality Control as a native to Atlanta and a friend to basically everyone in that camp. The beat feels more curtailed to Yachty's elementary sound, but Thug, ever the chameleon, has no problem flowing on it. Funk piano jingles subside as Yachty's verse begin, to give Lil Boat a more minimal backing. Meanwhile Thug warns that you better read his texts. We've all felt like that in a relationship, amirite?? You best read them (!!).

Take a listen to the new collaboration and let us know what you think. Control The Streets Volume One does not have a proper release date yet, but we'll keep you posted. Migos are also hard at work on CULTURE 2 so the camp is staying busy.

Quotable Lyrics

22 hoes on me, 22 clothes on me, oh
22 golds on me, 22 broads on me
Givin' you swag for free
Learn how to dress from me
Keepin' these hoes beneath
Keepin' 'em beneath my feet
