Upstate New York is about to have the summer on lock as Conway The Machine and 38 Spesh ramp up for the release of a joint project. The two formed an excellent track record together over the years. The two have worked together on records like Benny The Butcher’s “3 Missiles” and “Two 23s” left fans demanding a full body of work from them, which finally appears to be in the works. According to Spesh, the two are currently recording a new album titled Special Machinery.
During his appearance on Bootleg Kev’s podcast, he laid out his plans for the year, which includes the recently released Gunsmoke. However, 38 Spesh said that Special Machinery with Conway The Machine will come soon. “Me and Conway got an album,” he told Bootleg Kev. “The people gotta get ready for that. It’s done, I’m gonna follow up after Gunsmoke with that. The name of that album is called Special Machinery.” Needless to say, it’s going to be a busy year for 38 Spesh, though we’re sure he’ll have even more heat in the cut beyond these two efforts.
38 Spesh Details Conway The Machine Joint Album
Special Machinery is bound to be an incredibly special project. 38 Spesh revealed that he’s not only trading bars with Conway but he also collaborated with another producer from Buffalo on the entire project. “Something serious, Special Machinery, we on there getting busy and shit, you know what I’m saying. I produced the whole joint, me and my guy Jimmy Dukes. He’s a producer from out of Buffalo, we produced the whole joint,” he said.
He said fans should expect to see the project on streaming services in either July or August. Additionally, he said that the project will be 10 songs in total. Besides that, he didn’t share any more details except features from Lloyd Banks and Pharoahe Monch. However, we suspect that Benny The Butcher, who 38 Spesh confirmed he's also working with on a separate joint project, will likely appear on a single or two. Hopefully, 38 Spesh and Conway The Machine come through with a lead single from the project soon. Check out 38 Spesh’s interview above and sound off with your thoughts in the comments.
