The rumours surrounding Jonathan Majors have been making up most of the headlines over the past few hours. However, other updates on our favourite celebrities continue to pour in. For the past week, Amanda Bynes fans have been expressing great concern for the 36-year-old. It comes after a psychotic break found her wandering the streets of downtown Los Angeles naked. At the time, she was brought to the police for further evaluation. They accordingly opted to place the embattled starlet under a psychiatric hold.
On Sunday (March 26), TMZ broke the news that the Hairspray actress will be spending an extended period of time at her mental health facility. Most similar situations find patients staying in custody for roughly 72 hours. At this time, Bynes is planning to stay for at least one more week, though that may later be extended once again. Sources reveal that she hasn't been in contact with any of those who are closest to her. It remains unclear if she remembers the time she spent wandering through LA without clothing or company.
Amanda Bynes Puts Her Healing First
As authorities worked to figure out how Bynes got to be in such a state, they realized she's seemingly been living on the streets for some time. Her vehicle was previously towed in Long Beach – located about 40 miles from her home – on March 15. Friends and family believe that she was using public transportation and possibly even hitchhiking.
When her car was taken, sources say there was no gas in the tank. It's also worth noting that the California native didn't have a cell phone on her during her LA escapades. Apparently, leaving her house and walking for miles isn't a strange occurrence for Amanda Bynes. Those with a strong understanding of her condition believe she may have been manic when she was seen earlier this month. Her ex, Paul Michael, says he hasn't lived with the multi-talent since January, and she was apparently last seen at her apartment just a few days before her vehicle was towed.
