LeBron James did everything in his power to keep the Cleveland Cavaliers in last night's Game 5, and the NBA Finals as a whole, but the Warriors just had too many weapons and too much depth for the Cavs to overcome.
LeBron, who averaged a triple double throughout the NBA Finals, was asked after the loss if he's still a fan of the concept of a "superteam," you know, like the one he formed in Miami alongside Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
However, LeBron claims he has never even played for a superteam. He simply doesn't believe it.
"I don't believe I've played for a superteam," James told reporters, "I don't believe in that."
LeBron may not have been on a "superteam" the caliber of this year's Warriors squad, but to deny ever playing on one is laughable.
