Draymond Green recently spoke out about the Andrew Wiggins situation.

Despite what some might think of him, there is no doubt that Draymond Green is a leader for the Golden State Warriors. Overall, he has won four titles with the team and he has numerous accolades. That said, when something happens to one of his teammates, he has the clout to speak up about it. Subsequently, this aforementioned clout has come in handy as Andrew Wiggins is going through a rough situation. It has been said that he will likely be out for the rest of the season with a personal matter. Although his privacy should be respected, fans have still crafted their own theories about his absence.

As we reported earlier this week, Wiggins' girlfriend had to respond to these rumors. This is because the theories involved her directly. Essentially, people have been saying that Wiggins was cheated on. Furthermore, his girlfriend allegedly cheated with his best friend. To make matters worse, it is also rumored that Wiggins' child actually belongs to his best friend. Overall, it is a pretty wild rumor that many are saying has absolutely no basis in reality.

Draymond Green Speaks Out

On a recent episode of his podcast, Draymond Green spoke out about the rumors. After watching this all play out on social media, Green was feeling sick to his stomach. This subsequently prompted a podcast segment in which he went off on fans for creating narratives. As you can see, Green was quite passionate about the topic. “Sometimes people disgust me," Green said. "You don’t know what someone is dealing with, and then you make them deal with THAT?... Stop it, it’s disgusting.”

Green is certainly correct in his analysis here. Sports fans tend to take things way too far. They will see one thing on Reddit and then run with it for all of eternity. However, there is no consideration for the subject of these rumors and how they may be feeling internally. Ultimately, this trend probably won't be dying out anytime soon. Although, we hope that we are proven wrong on this, as the social media sphere is definitely getting out of hand. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.
