As Trey Songz' career blows up, it was only a matter of time before he dipped into the film industry. He already appeared in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" and now he nabs his second movie role. He'll have a part in an upcoming romantic comedy called "Baggage Claim."
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie is about a flight attendant who doesn't want to go to her sister's wedding without a fiancee of her own, so begins the search for one while working. Songz will play a producer who's living large and swagged out. Filming for the movie begins this month in L.A.
Foxsearchlight's "Baggage Claim" will also feature Taye Diggs, Paula Patton, Derek Luke, Adam Brody and Djimon Hounsou.
Trey Songz' Chapter V is out now, and recently hit No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
