The embattled politician is currently under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney as they move toward a possible indictment.

Most of his efforts have been put towards his third presidential run recently. However, Donald Trump took some time on Saturday (March 18) morning to let Truth Social users know that he foresees an orange jumpsuit in his future. As the Manhattan District Attorney continues to investigate the politician, they're reportedly nearing an indictment. This news has him expecting an arrest next week. In a message this morning, the former POTUS did his part to bash those coming after him before encouraging readers to "protest" should his vision come true.

"NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD AND FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK," Trump wrote in what may be the longest run-on sentence ever.

Donald Trump Prepares for Possible Arrest

"PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!" his message ended, encouraging his supporters to stand up and defend his honour. As CNN reports, John Miller revealed recently that city, state, and federal law enforcement agencies in New York City have been markedly holding regular meetings to prepare for Trump's possible indictment. The investigation into The Apprentice alum has been going on for years. It specifically looks into whether he passed hush money along to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

It's worth noting that, though the New York native has an extensive history of being in court for civil matters. This could be his first criminal charge. It may potentially heavily alter the public's perception of him ahead of the 2024 election. The embattled star previously announced his candidacy last year. Trump's post didn't explicitly explain why he believes he'll be arrested. Still, sources close to the matter say he believes an indictment "would help him politically."

A spokesperson for the 76-year-old confirmed that he hasn't received official notice from the Manhattan DA. His message today was simply "rightfully highlighting his innocence." Do you think that Donald Trump will be taken into custody next week? Sound off in the comments, and check back later for any updates on the ongoing investigation.
