The Air Jordan 6 continues to be an amazing shoe.

When it comes to iconic Air Jordan models, look no further than the Air Jordan 6. It is not the most popular Jordan sneaker, however, it does have a ton of significance. This is due to the fact that Jordan wore this shoe when he won his very first NBA title in 1991. Overall, this was one of the biggest achievements of his entire career, and the AJ6 was there to help commemorate it. All of these years later, the Jordan 6 remains a beloved part of the Jumpman library.

Just a couple of years ago, this silhouette celebrated its 30th birthday. 2021 turned out to be a huge year for the shoe as we got a ton of truly amazing offerings. For the most part, these were new colorways. However, there was a very nice influx of retros that certainly made fans excited. Now, Jumpman has every intention of keeping the Jordan 6s coming. 2023 will be yet another amazing year for this silhouette, and every single week, the teasers continue to roll on in.

"Aqua" Air Jordan 6

For instance, we have a photoshop rendering up above from @sneakerfiles and @zsneakerheadz. In this image, we can see the upcoming Air Jordan 6 "Aqua." This is actually a colorway that is meant to replicate the Air Jordan 8 of the exact same name. Firstly, the upper is covered in black suede. This is a very nice look that complements the rest of the shoe well. Secondly, we have purple and blue all throughout the midsole. Purple is then found on the Jumpman branding around the shoe. This also includes the back heel tab which is a great little detail.

Once again, Jumpman has knocked it out of the park with an Air Jordan 6 colorway. As for the release date, these are rumored to come out on October 7th for $200 USD. However, it should be noted that Jumpman has yet to confirm this. Let us know what you think of this brand-new colorway, in the comments section down below.
