While a life of fame sounds glamorous from the outside looking in, most celebrities actually receive near-constant criticism on social media. Some manage to mostly stay out of the ring of fire by laying it low and playing it safe, while others, with bigger and bolder personalities, never hesitate to cause a stir and create discourse. Lately, it's been Latto who appears to be taking on the most backlash among the female rap stars, for a variety of reasons.
On her first single of 2023, the 777 hitmaker worked with producer Dr. Luke, whose reputation has been knowingly embattled. Of course, others like Saweetie and Nicki Minaj have worked with him in recent years, though they seemed to face far less criticism for their collaborations. Elsewhere in the internet space, an internet troll made fun of Latto for wearing the same pair of panties in two different thirst traps.
Latto Shamed for Underwear Repeating
In her usual fashion, the 24-year-old was quick to troll her hater, dubbing them the "panty police" before going on to list her used underwear for sale on eBay. The salacious garment had bidders willing to spend $100,000 just to own Latto's worn thong, though the website eventually shut down the auction over health and safety concerns. Even if she didn't actually get the money, seeing the bidding rise from $0.99 cents to six figures surely gave the recording artist an ego boost.
Since she couldn't get rid of the infamous cheetah print bottoms, Latto opted to put them on display once again while filming the "Mouskatool (Remix)" music video. The song belongs to Chicago rapper Mello Buckzz, who brought the Ohio-born star on as a guest feature on the reimagined version of her hit single. In the forthcoming visual, Alyssa Stephens' booty does nothing short of bounce while friends hype her and her exposed panties up.
