Skooly (as part of Rich Kids) and Young Thug have both done a lot of work with London On Da Track, and as a result, they've developed a similar melodic sense. On "Stylin'," they are perfectly complimentary, seamlessly trading bars over a bright instrumental that leaves space for vocal experimentation. Way back in 2014, the two rappers united on "Every Morning," an underrated collaboration with Metro Boomin and TM88.
Thug has been very open to working with collaborators in the past. In 2014, he and Rich Homie Quan teamed up for a full project as Rich Gang, and prior to that, he released a joint project with Bloody Jay called Black Portland. In fact, just yesterday Thug released an EP with EDM-leaning producer Carnage. In an interview with High Snobiety, Carnage spoke of Thug's incredibly fast writing methods. "[Thug] went into the booth, turned off all the sound and our first song was done in fifteen minutes. How fast he works is crazy!” There have also been rumors of a collaborative project between Future and Young Thug, as well as the long-awaited Metro Thuggin project with Metro Boomin.
Skooly recently released hi "Flawless" video on HNHH. His debut solo album BaccWard FeeliNgs is expected to be released soon and will include the single "Fucc It Up Suh." Last year, he released the highly underrated Trench Gotti project with Nard & B. Look out for more new music from him very soon.
