Avril Lavigne and Tyga are reportedly serious about dating, according to TMZ. While the couple hasn't put any labels on their relationship, their recent trip to Paris Fashion Week wasn't just a publicity stunt. Citing sources close to the two artists, the outlet reports that their hanging out has nothing to do with promoting an upcoming collaboration and that they are genuine about one another.
Lavigne and Tyga have since returned from Paris and are still spending time together. Over the weekend, the two were spotted at the Italian restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, in Sant Monica for a romantic date.

The news comes just weeks after Lavigne called off her engagement to Mod Sun. He had proposed to Lavigne just one year ago while also in Paris. Mod Sun confirmed the split in a post on Instagram afterward. “In 1 week my entire life completely changed…I just know there’s a plan for it all,” he said. “I’ll keep my head up + always listen to my heart, even when it feels broken [broken heart emoji]. Being surrounded by love every night on tour has been an absolute blessing. I have the best friends in the entire world, thanks for always having my back. See you on stage.” Mod had recently included a track titled “Avril’s Song” about his love for Lavigne on his latest album, God Save the Teen. “She blew me a kiss, And I didn’t wanna blow my brains out anymore,” he sings. “And she is everything I’m not. Without her, I am lost.” The two also collaborated on the track “Shelter.”
Tyga was previously in a relationship with Kylie Jenner as well as Blac Chyna, with whom he shares a child. Chyna recently reflected on their relationship during an interview on The Jason Lee Show. She remarked that Tyga kicked her out of his house before he set his sights on Kylie Jenner.
