Ashanti modeled for Marc Jacobs' latest campaign.

Ashanti was certainly shining in her Marc Jacobs campaign. The singer rocked platform heels, a black detailed dress, and black leather gloves as she modeled a large black Marc Jacobs bag. Another photo showed her showing off a pink shoulder bag while she posed for the camera. It's fair to say Ashanti came to serve, sporting flawless makeup and a sleek side-part hairstyle.

Commenting below the post, fans couldn't help but write about her Queen energy. One person said: "ALWAYS getting to the bag … Literally this time!" A second wrote: "You being this booked & busy 20+ years into your career is amazing." Another said: "They couldn’t have asked a better person to model."

Ashanti For Marc Jacobs

While Ashanti has been in the industry for over 20 years, it's fair to say she's far from slowing down. Last year, the Baby singer released a new song titled "Falling For You." The tune showcased her singing about a breakup and overcoming heartache. At the time, she told The Shade Room: "My new single ‘Falling For You’ is definitely about a real situation. It’s crazy– the timing of it. Art imitates life; life imitates art. It was from a very sincere, genuine, authentic place.” Speaking about her music, she continued: "[My style] has not changed too drastically. A lot of people know– but is there room for more? Probably. I appreciate the love, but there’s always room for more people to understand."

2022 also saw Ashanti be officially commemorated with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She received the honor 20 years after the release of her self-titled debut studio album, Ashanti. The 2002 project reached number one on both the Billboard Top 200 and R&B album charts. Speaking about her star, the singer told Billboard: "It’s surreal. I’m shocked, stunned and over the top grateful. This is a staple in my career and the fact that it will be here forever is a big deal.” She added: “I’m not a super emotional person, so the fact that I cried a little bit today is a little weird for me." Ashanti's ceremony was attended by many of her family members and friends, including Tichina Arnold and Ja Rule.
