Shannon Sharpe is easily one of the most entertaining people on television. Overall, he makes every single episode of Undisputed infinitely better. The energy he brings to the show is infectious. Moreover, he is able to create a solid dynamic with Skip Bayless, who can be very hard to work with. Although the two engage in some pretty difficult debates sometimes, there is no denying they are a dynamic duo. Fans love watching them, and the rising ratings are a testament to their consistency on the air.
As for their most recent debates, there are some very interesting topics that Shannon and Skip have had to cover. One of them is the Los Angeles Clippers, who have struggled a bit since adding Russell Westbrook to the roster. Overall, Russ clearly is not the best fit for that team. However, the Clippers are dedicated to finding a way to make all of this work. As you can imagine, Sharpe has some very strong feelings about this, and he let them be known on Undisputed today.
Shannon Sharpe Corrects Himself
Unfortunately, while trying to make a very poignant analogy, Sharpe ended up slipping up. In the clop above, courtesy of TMZ, Sharpe dropped an F-bomb. Although he immediately apologized, Bayless seemed to be pretty taken aback by it all. "If I'm making fried chicken and somebody says, 'I got some chocolate for you,'" Sharpe began. "What the hell? Yeah, I like chocolate but what the f*** that have to?" After apologizing, the NFL legend finished his thought by saying "Why would I need chocolate to go with fried chicken?" Although it was an unfortunate thing to have happen, it doesn't seem like anyone was too upset by it.
There is a lot of unpredictability when it comes to the world of Live TV. Anything can happen at any time, and you need to be prepared for it. Clearly, Sharpe was well prepared for his own mistake. He owned up to it, moved on quickly, and showed grace while doing so. At the end of the day, that is all you can do in a situation like this.
