Let's hope this is the last time we talk about this.

Just when you thought we could stop talking about Kanye West's infamous interruption of Taylor Swift's VMA Speech in 2009, a new story regarding the much-debated moment has surfaced. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, former MTV chief Van Toffler has shared his "favorite" MTV story, which strangely happens to involve a lot of people crying. The story begins just after Kanye took the stage to declare that Beyoncé had "one of the greatest videos of all time" during Swift's acceptance of Female Video Of The Year. Read it below.

When Kanye walked up onstage with Taylor [Swift] that year, it turned out that Taylor had to go onstage to do her song five minutes later. I ran out of the truck to see that everything was all right, and Taylor and her mom were crying hysterically. I'm not always wonderful with emotions. I didn't know what to say. Then I went backstage, and Beyonce was crying, too.

Again, weird favorite story.

Now 8 years later, Kanye and Taylor Swift are still at odds after a brief moment of peace. Their last clash came over Kanye's "Famous" lyric in which he said “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous." It was later revealed that Taylor gave the green light to one version of the lyric when Kim Kardashian shared a recording of a phone conversation Kanye and Taylor had on her Snapchat account. As for 'Ye and Beyoncé, we're not quite sure where they stand, but news of her crying the night of the VMAs is not altogether surprising, as it was likely an emotional experience for everyone involved.

Kanye West is currently working on new music. He has been holding some recording sessions atop a mountain in Wyoming, according to reports.
