She once shared secrets of her fast-paced lifestyle, but these days, Brittany Renner is less concerned with her past exploits. That is unless she's learning from her mistakes, as she recently shared with The Shade Room. The social media influencer sat down for an intimate conversation addressing her controversies. It seems she no longer wants to be viewed as an internet "side chick."
Renner has been at the center of several viral moments, including ongoing conversations about the father of her son, PJ Washington. The Charlotte Hornets star was reportedly 18 years old and in college when he met a 24-year-old Renner. People were quick to label Renner as a predator or say she manipulated Washington, but she has defended herself at every turn. She also takes hits over her alleged past romances or interactions with other notable stars. Now says she has to filter out her social media use because of the hate.
Putting Up Boundaries
“I don’t search my name on Twitter, and I probably haven’t since 2015. People should definitely take that advice. Do not search your name on Twitter, [because] you’ll get your feelings hurt. I do not read comments, you know how Instagram is. The people you follow are at the top, so I’ll read the people I follow and unless I’m feeling frisky, I’m not scrolling past that. Overall, my opinion matters the most out of what anybody has to say. It’s not that I don’t care, I see it but what I think about me matters more,” Renner said.
Elsewhere, Renner touches on her relationship with Washington. They are currently in a better place than the public rifts of the past, but she did explain what the "last straw" was in their romance. "Honestly? The OnlyFans stuff," said Renner. "He told me he had never like purchased anything and, like, wasn't doing this, this, and this. And literally, I—I just gotta tell the truth. I pulled up bank records that he had in the safe that we had and I saw all these charges."
Brittany Renner Had Enough
She continued, "It was like, a two year old lie! And I'm like, 'You still didn't tell the truth about this?" She admitted that wasn't all; Renner claims she caught Washington watching a pornography video of someone she knows. Check it out above.
