Marcus accompanied Larsa to her interview with Angela Yee, and the former Mrs. Pippen explained why their romance works.

They may have a strange history, but Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan's romance is going strong. Yet, their connection is a tangled web; Larsa was married to Scottie Pippen. The basketball icon dominated alongside Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls in the franchise's most successful years. Pippen and Jordan have had a tense relationship for some time, and it's easy to find highlights of their beef. Marcus is Michael's son, and he and Larsa have a 16-year age difference.

Larsa has faced criticism over her dating life, but she's addressed naysayers head-on. The Real Housewives star visited Way up with Angela Yee, and her boyfriend was by her side. Yee noted that she knew Marcus and went to the opening of his store in Orlando. "I think Marcus is amazing. And like, when you guys first started dating—I don't know if you were dating or not yet. But when you were pictured together, I was on The Breakfast Club. I was like, 'No, they're just out eating. They know each other."

According to Larsa, at that time, the two were just friends. "We weren't dating, we really weren't dating," she said. "We actually met at a party four years ago. And I feel like a lot of people want to like, spin things. Like, 'Oh, they've known each other their whole life!' I'm like, 'By the way, we did not.'" Larsa also noted that when Michael and Scottie were teammates, she and Marcus had no contact. "We missed that era."

"It's like, we were friends, we met four years ago, we have mutual friends," Larsa further added. "We were in the same group, like, a lot. And it's funny, because I was trying to set him up with all my friends." The revelation made the hosts laugh. She added, "I was telling all my friends in Miami, 'You gotta make time to meet him, he's so cute.'"

Marcus Made His Choice

Although she tried to play matchmaker, in the end, Marcus wasn't interested. Larsa said he didn't go out with anyone she suggested. "But really, I would hype him up to all my friends," she continued. Marcus added there wasn't a goal for him and Larsa to date. She said they have so many similarities that they just clicked. Check it out above.
