T-Pain has given us many words to live by over the course of his many hits. It wouldn't be difficult to find a yearbook quote within T-Pain's existing catalog, but one fan has gone the extra mile and headed straight to the source.
"Give me a senior quote please:)," a young man by the name of Gabriel Silvan tweeted at Pain last December.
The next day, his dream came true when T-Pain supplied some wisdom: "People don't think it be like it be, but it do." The quote is likely a reference to MLB player Oscar Charles Gamble's similar words: "They don't think it be like it is, but it do"
6 months later, school is out, and Silvan has completed the prophecy, posting the evidence of his senior quote on Twitter this week. T-Pain applauded Silvan's commitment, which he got quite a kick out of, writing, "Man. This. This is the kind of shit I live for ๐ you did it bro. Killed it. Good job man ๐๐ฟ ...............๐๐ฟ ...............๐๐ฟ .slow clap*"
Oscar Gamble's quote was called on of Baseball's "immortal lines" by sportswriter Dan Epstein, who described it as a response to the New York Yankee's "disorganization and circus-like atmosphere." The phrase has gone on to become a popular internet meme.
T-Pain recently released the original files from the 2009 T-Wayne sessions on SoundCloud, delighting fans who've been waiting for the seemingly doomed project for years.
