Exclusive: Slaughterhouse Discusses Joe Budden's Jail Time

Slaughterhouse finally performed at the Well in Brooklyn on September 8th, after the concert initially was delayed. Although it still rained a bit during the show, the performance was well-recieved and HotNewHipHop was able to catch up with (most) of the Slaughterhouse boys after the show.

Fans may have noticed 1/4 of the super group, Joe Budden, was missing from the stage that night. Royce Da 5'9" reveals to HNHH that Budden was in jail, and thus couldn't make it, although he doesn't elaborate much further. “Joey is in jail. 'Cause he's the Slaughterhouse orphan, you know what I'm sayin', we gon' get him out, he gon' be alright, it just happened at the wrong time,” Nickle Nine said.

Joell Ortiz continued to joke, saying “we spoke to the judge, he's only facing like a hundred years, we're tryna ge tit down to like fifty-five years.” During the show, Slaughterhouse got the crowd to join in supporting Joe by cheering “Free Joey” during their set.
