When news broke earlier this week that Karrueche Tran was seeing Quavo, observers held their collective breath, waiting for Breezy's response. A TMZ report suggests Chris Brown was enraged when he heard the news, feeling betrayed by Honcho, his longtime business partner and friend.
He feels he got stabbed in the back by someone he had grown close to. Brown has backed Migos for the longest, featuring on songs with them years before they hit it big.
He apparently thinks Quavo and his ex were secretly dating while he was promoting their album Culture. Insiders suggest Breezy believes the lovebirds orchestrated the restraining order to be rid of him and date without the embarrassment of running into him.
In a Billboard cover story last month, Migos said they felt deep gratitude for the "Loyal" singer. At a party in Atlanta, Brown took the mic and expressed his love for the group.
"I just want to shout out y'all," he announced, addressing himself to Migos. "Y'all my real friends and brothers. I bought your album three times. I spent my own money and shit. I'm proud of you n—s. I will never hate on you n—s."
After that heartfelt display of friendship, Quavo told the Billboard reporter, "Damn, that boy Chris said a real one. That f—ed me up."
