This time last year, Ari Lennox was in the midst of emotional turmoil which was constantly playing out for the world to see on social media. From nearly being arrested at an airport in Amsterdam to receiving uncomfortable NSFW questions from a podcast host, the R&B starlet got no shortage of sympathy from her fans amid the chaos. At the time, she was ready to walk away from the industry. Thankfully, things have obviously since turned around for her.
A few weeks back, Lennox embarked on her age/sex/location tour following the debut of her sophomore album. She began in Las Vegas at the end of January and has taken over stages in cities like Vancouver, Denver, Houston, and Anaheim since. She's presently about halfway through her run, which she previously announced will be her last time touring the nation.
Ari's Tour Looks Turn Heads
If it truly is her last time on tour, then the Washington, D.C. native is certainly making her presence felt. Earlier this week, she shared a teaser of one of her bold stage looks on Instagram. Channelling simple but sexy, Lennox donned a black sports bra and high-cut spandex shorts, layering fishnets over the garments to up her outfit's sex appeal.
Her hair was worn in tight curls and pulled back into a full ponytail. Additionally, the "Pressure" hitmaker's face card looked as valid as ever, with the dark lipstick on her mouth making her pout look even more luscious. Lennox's accessories consisted of a few silver bracelets and a pair of hoops hanging from her ears. If you were unsure about attending upcoming tour dates before, her thirst traps will certainly have you scrapping for tickets now.
Ari's Recent Releases
Before she hit the road earlier this year, Lennox surprised her fans with plenty of new music. For years, R&B lovers awaited the arrival of her follow-up to 2019's Shea Butter Baby. She delivered last summer, dropping off her Away Message EP before tapping a vivacious roster of collaborators for her age/sex/location album. Chlöe, Summer Walker, and Lucky Daye all did their part to help their contemporary, resulting in some must-hear hits.
Following that, Ari also made an appearance on Babyface's Girls Night Out project in October. She helped the renowned producer out with some vocals on "Liquor" before returning later in the holiday season to spread some Christmas cheer.
