Emilio Rojas and Dave East team up for some New York hip-hop.

Back in 2015, New York based rapper Emilio Rojas teamed up with Slaughterhouse's Joell Ortiz for "Nada," produced by Bizness Boi & Derelle Rideout. Two years later, the rapper returns for a remix of the track, with one of New York's most murderous emcees - Dave East. East, who is still enjoying the success of his Paranoia: A True Story "EP" (at thirteen tracks, isn't it an album though), has been killing shit of late. While East's flow has always been solid, he seems to be reaching a point where his confidence is bringing out an improvement in his delivery. It is kind of strange to see a remix to a track that's now two years old, but Rojas explains that "Dave East has been KILLING shit lately so he was a perfect fit for the song."

And who wouldn't want to drop a collaboration with Dave East? Thankfully, Rojas comes through with a brand new verse, and it's even better than the first time around. His rapid fire flow shines as he details his come-up, painting a detailed picture about his family life. "It was nine of us inside a two bedroom," raps Emilio, with mad fire in his voice. "We was steppin' over people just to piss, my parents and abuela and my tios and the kids."

While Joell Ortiz brings a strong presence to any joint, Dave East steps in admirably, delivering a lyrical onslaught befitting of a Slaughterhouse vet. East paces his verse well, building up steam and aggression as the track builds, and by the time he's rapping about "Meek Mill Pumas," he's pretty much spazzing. There's even the obligatory comparison to 2Pac, which is especially powerful today, which marks the anniversary of his death.

Quotable Lyrics

All my life seen my mama work two jobs
Too fire with a nine n*gga woosah
Calm down four pound make em' moonwalk
Or we can catch him with his bitch and hit his mooma
