French Montana & Ty Dolla $ign add their flare to Major Lazer's remix of "Legs Over" by Mr. Eazi.

Dancehall and Afrobeat have been surfacing more and more evidently on North America's radar. We've seen it this summer with French Montana's "Unforgettable" which took over the whole summer. We seen it last year when Drake dropped "One Dance" featuring WizKid & Kyla, the song featured elements of both afrobeat and dancehall. While Diplo and Major Lazer have also been dabbling with the genre over the years, today they link up with Nigerian star, Mr Eazi, to remix his hit single "Legs Over" with the help of French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign

Mr Eazi's "Legs Over" was already bubbling globally among fans of afrobeat and dancehall so it seemed like a no brainer for Major Lazer to take the song and give it a little re-vamp. The production duo took the low-key R&B inspired tune and re-created the beat to give it a much bigger sounds with some electronic flare infused into it. Both French Montana and Ty Dolla $ign fit incredibly well on the song. With French's success of "Unforgettable," he's proven his versatility as an artist and being able to dabble into international sounds. Ty Dolla $igns contributions however, don't come across as any sort of surprise. Over the course of 2017, Ty Dolla $ign working with many afro-beat and dancehall artists, even admitting in an interview recently that he's apart of the scene.

While Mr Eazi has yet to really make his mark in North America, this is definitely a great first step towards it. He's currently under the wing of WizKid's Starboy Entertainment imprint. His most recent mixtape, Life Is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos, debuted at number 4 on the Billboard's World Music charts. With a collaboration with some of hip hop's biggest names as well as Major Lazer behind him, he's showing signs of a promising career ahead.

Quotable Lyrics
You give me leg over
Got me confused when you bend over
We gon' do it til we hungover
Black shades on, we ain't never sober
