Michael B. Jordan says that he's being patient regarding his next romance, after his split from Lori Harvey last year. The two dated from November 2020 through June 2022. Jordan opened up about the state of his love life during a new interview with Rolling Stone.

When asked "if he saw himself making time for a relationship again," Jordan responded, “Of course I think about it, but I definitely want to try to be responsible with that. Knowing how I wanted to be as present as possible. It’s gonna happen when it’s supposed to happen.”

A source for PEOPLE explained his split from Harvey at the time saying, “Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time. They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”

Harvey, on the other hand, has already moved on to another relationship. On Wednesday, she and Damson Idris made their red carpet debut at the season 6 premiere of Snowfall. At the event, they could be seen laughing their way down the red carpet. The two have been rumored to be dating since December when they were spotted grabbing dinner in Los Angeles. They also celebrated their first Valentine's Day together as a couple, earlier this week.

Michael B. Jordan is gearing up for one of the biggest releases of his career in Creed III. Not only does Jordan star in the third entry of the franchise, but it will also be his feature directorial debut. “I’m always willing to prove myself,” Jordan told Rolling Stone. “When you come from where I come from, and everybody doesn’t get those opportunities and breaks — that luck, or whatever — you start to question why you’re getting the things that you get. Why am I successful in life? Or why did I go this way, and everybody went that way? That builds up on you after a while.” The highly-anticipated film is hitting theaters on March 3, 2023.
