It seems a $150K Richard Millie watch on V-Day isn't necessarily a sign of romance.

Ice Spice and Lil Tjay are reportedly just friends, despite him gifting Spice a pricey Richard Millie watch for Valentine's. Before people could confirm their conclusions, though, TMZ Hip Hop reported that they aren't embroiled in any romance. Moreover, sources close to the "Munch" MC told the publication that the two aren't romantically engaged. Furthermore, Tjay just wanted to get her something special following their "Gangsta Boo" collaboration. In fact, it might just be a celebration following their charting placement on the Billboard Hot 100.

While many focused on the sentimental gift, others took note of the icy watch itself. NYC-based company Benny the Jeweler showed off Tjay's $150K purchase, an RM-05 Rose Gold. It comes with a white band, and was available for pick-up on Valentine's Day from pure coincidence. Of course, the fact that Tjay was the only feature on Spice's Like..? EP raises eyebrows, as well. Still, maybe hopefuls should just let a man buy his industry friend a crazy expensive gift in peace. At least, for now, as any interaction between the two only gives the Internet more receipts and speculative material.

What's more is that their track would've made for a killer music video if it weren't for Lil Tjay's unfortunate arrest. Moreover, authorities took him in for gun possession just moments before they scheduled to start filming for the MV. However, at least the "Bikini Bottom" sensation was able to shoot a visual for her track "In Ha Mood." As two Bronx representatives in the hip-hop game, they linked previously for more charitable endeavors. For example, they hosted a turkey drive for Thanksgiving in their neighborhood community. But it seems the friendship is just that and nothing more.

Meanwhile, Ice Spice showed no signs of slowing down in 2023, given her EP release and multiple headlines in the media landscape. For one, people are going crazy over surfaced old pictures of her, as it's not every day we get to see a star before their come-up. Also, she became the latest rap artist to deal with unruly crowds at a Brooklyn nightclub, which might be the case for future live shows. After all, she's one of the most in-demand and talked-about artists of the moment, and there's much more to come. Check back in with HNHH for the latest on Ice Spice and Lil Tjay.
