The battle for "King of Chicago" is becoming a hot topic as up and coming talent, Chief Keef, the man behind one of the current street anthems "I Don't Like", is on the rise. Of course, Kanye West is still heralded as the best out of Chicago while working with other Chi-town vets like Common and Lupe Fiasco.
Now (from MissInfo), it looks like Chief Keef is getting annoyed with all the Kanye chatter. This comes after 'Ye remixed the "I Don't Like" track with his G.O.O.D. Music compatriots. Many believed the young rapper should have been honored that West would decide to remix his track, as it would give his music more exposure. In a past interview, Keef revealed that he had never met, or even spoken to Kanye, and that the remix was done without his involvement.
Tired of people saying his track blew up because of Kanye's version, Chief Keef took to Twitter to make it clear that his success is his own doing.
While this isn't necessarily a direct shot at West, it certainly doesn't seem as if the new Interscope signee is in any hurry to collabo with G.O.O.D. Music anytime soon.
