During the tragic Monday night mass shooting, Deelishis asked her followers for help.

On Monday night, tragedy struck the Michigan State University campus. An active shooter started firing shots in the campus's two publicly accessible buildings. The results of the shooting are 3 deaths and 5 critical injuries. The shooter died of a self-inflicted wound, leaving behind a panic-stricken community and grieving families. Of those to have lost their life was Arielle Diamond, the niece of model and Flavor of Love 2 star Deelishis.

The heartbroken aunt took to Instagram when the news of the shooting broke out. Diamond had been in one of the targeted buildings, and her family was worried after not hearing from her. Below a picture of Diamond, Deelishis wrote, "my beautiful niece @ariellediamond_ is a student at Michigan State University... she was in her classroom in the same building as the active shooter and we have not heard from her." She continued with a request, "if you know her whereabouts please dm me... in the meantime my family and I ask for your prayers."

The Detroit native later pinned a comment by another family member confirming Diamond's unfortunate death. The awful affair concluded after the shooter shot himself, and the 5 injured victims are all in critical condition. The shooting occurred in two different locations on MSU's 5,200-acre campus. Swift action from emergency responders commenced a shelter-in-place order that lasted an hour. Interim Deputy Chief Chris Rozman spoke to CNN about the aftermath of this tragedy. "This truly has been a nightmare that we are living tonight," he explained, "we are relieved to no longer have an active threat on campus, while we realize that there is so much healing that will need to take place after this.” The MSU shooting marks the United States's 67th mass shooting in 2023, as reported by CNN.

Police have yet to recognize the motive behind this shooting, but have identified the shooting suspect. Police only know that the 43-year-old shooter has no connection to the school. While the threat of Monday night's mass shooting may have ended, the evening resulted in permanent losses. Rest in peace, Arielle Diamond. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news on this developing story.
