Shaq wouldn't have been as humble as LeBron.

Shaq is someone who has had some very strong opinions about the new generation of NBA stars. Even when it comes to LeBron, Shaq hasn't always been super complimentary. Overall, this has led to some fans labeling O'Neal as a hater of sorts. However, his comments can be chalked up to the fact that he is a competitive person. Additionally, he played in a much tougher era, and that has ultimately clouded his judgment on what guys are doing today. No matter what though he is a legend and people look to him for his takes.

Over the weekend, Shaq got to host his massive Super Bowl party. While there, he had a whole lot of fun. Moreover, he then got to witness an incredible game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. In the end, the Chiefs won the game, much to the delight of the midwest. Meanwhile, the Eagles go home empty-handed much to the chagrin of their insane fanbase. No matter what, it was an amazing weekend.

Extra TV was at the event and they got to speak with the former NBA superstar. When asked what he thought of LeBron's latest record, Shaq had some very interesting thoughts. Essentially, he admires James for staying humble. This is mostly because Shaq wouldn't be the same way. “It was a professional jealousy moment. If it was me, I would have been arrogant for 19 seconds,"Shaq said. "I know he is a humble kid, I know he is going to give the answer, ‘I don’t want to be involved in the debate of who the greatest,’ I am jealous of having the conversation... It is nice to be ‘Who’s the greatest? Him, or him?’ Everybody would love to be in that position.”

Overall, it is very clear that Shaq has a lot of respect for what LeBron has accomplished here. It will take decades for anyone to even come close to the record again. Hopefully, LeBron is able to at least enjoy the record for years to come. The only person in the league right now who could break it is Kevin Durant, and even then, it is unlikely that he does it.
