Whether you’ve realized it or not, ATL rapper Que has been having himself a pretty monster year in 2017. From his Live From Da Dawghouse EP & Can U Digg It? 2 mixtape to releasing countless singles & videos, including “I Swear” which we premiered exclusively back in June, the ATL rapper has treated fans to plenty of new music this year, and thankfully he doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon either.
With a new project currently in the works, titled Class Clown, Que decides to kick off the campaign today by sharing the new song “Just A Dawg,” which can be yours for free when you pre-order the EP now on iTunes before it arrives in its entirety on September 22.
Produced by the Kid Classic, who’ll be handling the entire EP’s production, Que delivers a hard street cut that finds showing off his slick delivery & rapid fire rhymes, while rapping about being a “dawg” living a savage lifestyle in the process. While an unknown female vocalist handles the hook, reiterating Que’s message of being a “dawg” in the streets. “You aint riding, you aint hard nigga/ You be lyin’, you be fuckin’ different broads homie/ You aint rich you don't ball nigga/ You aint trina take a bitch to the mall nigga,” she sings.
Highlighted by its key-driven production & female-sung chorus, “Just A Dawg” is another strong addition to Que’s steady growing catalogue of hits, and all the more reason to be looking forward to the Class Clown EP to arrive in a couple weeks.
Take a listen and let us know what you think. Look for more from Que in the coming weeks as he’ll also be linking up with Cartier Quez for an upcoming record & video called “Da Spot.” Stay tuned for that as well.
Quotable Lyrics:
Us niggas from the North we like to rob and shit
Splittin’ lick pots ‘til my whole squad was rich
Never fuckin with these flower ass crew & cliques
