Julia Fox has responded to the backlash she's received for walking on the runway for Alexander Wang at New York Fashion Week. Multiple people have accused the disgraced designer of sexual assault over the years. Wang's show was not officially listed as an event for New York Fashion Week. However, over 150 guests still attended his runway show, including Anna Wintour, Nikita Dragun, and Ava Max. Fox remarked in a TikTok on Wang's page that her outfit made her feel "like a sexy siren, ready to suck souls."
After receiving backlash online for her affiliation with Wang, Fox responded in a comment on TikTok. She admitted that she feels Wang has put in the work to better himself as a person. She wrote: "I love cancel culture but we do need to leave room for rehabilitation and for those who put in the work and heal and learn from their mistakes."

Wang originally addressed the allegations back in 2021, promising to "set a better example" and "do better" going forward. He also met with 11 of his accusers. He wrote in his statement: "A number of individuals have come forward recently to raise claims against me regarding my past personal behavior. I support their right to come forward, and I've listened carefully to what they had to say. It was not easy for them to share their stories, and I regret acting in a way that caused them pain. While we disagree on some of the details of these personal interactions, I will set a better example and use my visibility and influence to encourage others to recognize harmful behaviors. Life is about learning and growth, and now that I know better, I will do better."
Wang had his first fashion show post-allegations last year in Los Angeles. The new show is Wang's first showing at New York Fashion Week in three years. In L.A., models Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrósio walked for him.
