Like most male rappers, Lil Durk obviously prides himself on having a unique wardrobe. Previously, he collaborated with Marc Jacobs on a campaign that found him modelling alongside Bella Hadid. He's also been known to spend a fortune on designer jewelry and outfits. However, not all of them have earned a seal of approval from his fans.
Most recently, the father of six made waves with the outfit he donned while sitting courtside at the Lakers game earlier this week. While the basic elements of his look aren't so bad, an over-the-top addition to the front of his sweater has the internet questioning how comfortable he was. For his night out on the town, Durk markedly paired black leather pants and boots with a grey mohair sweater.
Across his chest, the 7220 hitmaker surprisingly wore a broken skateboard. Both halves of it accordingly mark a V-shape in the middle of his shirt. He also layered several chains around his neck, and at times throughout the night, put on a balaclava over his face in the crowd. It remains unclear where Durk purchased the controversial sweater from, but social media hasn't been shy about expressing their distaste for it.
No Jumper later reposted photos of the lyricist to their Instagram feed writing, "Rich people will wear anything if it's designer." In the comments, many were quick to clown Durkio for his bold outfit. "POSER!!! He don't even skate," one person pointed out. Another added, "Wear anything their handlers tell them to wear."
Meanwhile, on Elon Musk's app, the conversation has been largely the same. "Bro got the Walmart skateboard on his mom's sweatshirt," one troll joked this afternoon. "People who let you walk out the crib in this and tell you that your fit looks fire ain’t really your friends," another circulating tweet says.
